1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using FODMAPSnap ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

FODMAPSnap is a mobile application that uses artificial intelligence to analyze meals for FODMAP content, tracks symptoms, and helps users identify personal food triggers. The App is available on iOS and Android platforms.

4. User Accounts

To use certain features of FODMAPSnap, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and complete information
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

5. Subscriptions & Payments

FODMAPSnap offers both free and premium subscription tiers. Premium subscriptions ("FODMAPSnap Pro") are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Payment will be charged to your App Store or Play Store account at confirmation of purchase
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's account settings
• No refunds will be provided for partial subscription periods

Free users are limited to 3 meal scans per day. Premium subscribers have unlimited access to all features.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Upload content that is offensive, harmful, or violates others' rights
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the App
• Use automated systems to access the App without permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or networks
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Share your account credentials with others

7. Intellectual Property

FODMAPSnap and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by FODMAPSnap and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any content you upload (such as meal photos). By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use, process, and store that content for the purpose of providing the service.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FODMAPSNAP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Health issues arising from dietary decisions based on the App
• Inaccuracies in AI-generated analysis
• Service interruptions or data loss
• Unauthorized access to your account

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE. THE AI ANALYSIS MAY NOT BE 100% ACCURATE.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including:

• Violation of these Terms of Service
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse of the service

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting support.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by email. Your continued use of FODMAPSnap after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
